Vehicle Donations
The XO Initiative is prepared to accept your generously donated vehicle (running or not) to help support our mission. Your donation will be providing the resources to better the lives of homeless veterans in Texas.
Maybe you’ve got an extra vehicle taking up space? Make the most of it by donating that car, truck or boat to the XO Initiative. We’ll utilize your donation through our 501(c)(3) charity to support homeless veterans in Texas.
Don’t want the hassle of selling it? It’s served you well and works just fine, but you don’t want to go through the hassle of selling it? If so, just donate it to the XO Initiative. We'll pick it up, get top dollar for it and use 100% of the money received to enrich the lives of Texas veterans.
Got an older car or other vehicle that’s not working and is going to be too expensive to repair? Don’t worry about it, Donate it to the XO Initiative, we’ll get it up and running and either sell it or possibly donate it to a veteran so his or her family will have reliable transportation.

We will come pick it up.
We will provide all the DMV paperwork you’ll need to sign.
We will also provide you with the necessary receipts and IRS forms so you can achieve the maximum allowable tax deduction for your donation.
All we need is for you to have a clear title ready to sign over.
Why donate your vehicle to XO Community Development Initiative, a 501(c)(3) charity?
You can rest assured that 100% of the revenue generated from your donated vehicle will go to support and further our mission. As an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN#85-0706284) we are bound by federal guidelines as to how we accept, report and dispose of all donations made to our organization. All our transaction are completed legally and in compliance with these guidelines. This protects our organization and you as a donor.
How it works
Reach out to us through the “Donate a Vehicle” button and we will schedule a convenient time to come pick up your car, truck or boat. When we pick up your vehicle we will provide you with a donation receipt.
If your donated vehicle has a Fair Market Value (FMV) of $500 or less we will gratefully take the vehicle, a signed title and its done. Its that simple.
If the FMV of your donation is between $500 and $5,000 we will provide you with a donation receipt and IRS Form 8283, Non-cash Charitable Contributions.
If the deduction you are claiming is greater than $5,000, we will provide you with a donation receipt an IRS Form 8283 and we will get a written appraisal of your vehicle for you to include with your 1040 return.
